TO WORKERS

Professional employees in PG&E’s Hydropower department voted to join our union over a year ago.  Negotiations have been underway for over 10 months.  PG&E management declared a “final offer” that will reduce pension benefits for experienced engineers, project managers and other professionals with over 35 years of service at the utility.  PG&E is demanding work conditions inferior to those of other identical employees already in the union.  The employees voted 2 to 1 to reject the offer.  PG&E has refused to modify its position for 6 months. 

PG&E won’t talk -- and won’t listen.
