The proposed 39-seat
Interim Council Structure [see attached document] has been
ratified.
Of 387 ballots received from GAO bargaining unit
employees,
321
ballots concurred with the proposed
structure;
66 ballots did not
concur with the proposed structure.
The
vote tally was conducted by IFPTE to guarantee the anonymity of
ballots.
A Notice of Elections outlining the nomination
process for Interim Council representatives will be circulated
to the GAO bargaining unit within the next few days.
