Pay Bargaining
Update
The 2008 pay negotiations process continued yesterday,
January 31, 2008. The management bargaining committee
advised the union that they were working on a revised proposal
throughout the day Thursday and were also waiting for additional
information and final authorization before they could present
the proposal to the union. The union and management bargaining
committees agreed to meet again at 10:00 AM on Friday, February
1, 2008, in any event. It is anticipated that management will
present a revised offer to the union on Friday, February 1.
Should the parties fail to reach agreement on Friday, the
parties agreed that negotiations will continue next week.
