the official GAO Union will be testifying on the Hill on
legislation that GAO has proposed that affects all
employees.

GAO employee Jacqueline Harpp,
At-Large Representative for African Americans and Legislative
Committee member on the GAO Union's Interim Council will be
testifying on behalf of the union. Shirley Jones, a member of
the Employee Advisory Council, will be testifying on the results
of the recent Hill survey of GAO employees.
Subcommittee Chairman Danny K.
Davis (Illinois) convened the hearing to examine the GAO Act of
2007 (H.R. 3268) and "other legislative proposals that may be
introduced that address GAO Reforms." Other witnesses expected
include Gene Dodaro, Acting Comptroller General; the Personnel
Appeals Board; and the Ivy Group (contractor hired by GAO to
conduct the African American Assessment Study).
