Our County Nurses are in jeopardy. The County Executive has an ill-conceived plan to outsource our wonderful department. The health and well-being of our community is in jeopardy.

I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed closure of the Putnam CHHA visiting nurse service. The nurses and therapists are extremely dedicated and provide a very special service to many of us in the community. They go above and beyond in terms of the quality of care given to county residents in need of assistance. They take pride in making our quality of life the best it can be. No private company can deliver the high level of compassionate care our Putnam nurses and therapists provide.

I am urging you to vote NO on putting this proposal out to bid. I want Putnam County running our visiting nurse service!
