Faced with a riot – Northpoint officers stepped up with what they had  -- and a situation that could have been far more devastating was avoided.  

The risk factors for all officers facing this kind of crisis or day to day dangers can and should be reduced.  Public safety depends on the safety of officers.  Correctional officers must be able to identify the risk factors and provide solutions without fear of retaliation. 

Speak out for Corrections employees! 

Call for elected officials to hold emergency safety meetings. Please place a call to at least 2 of the legislators below. Ask them to hold tbeir local public safety meeting on corrections now! If you see your legislators listed, call them first.
