Greetings,

2008 will be a year of change. Now is the time to take action and make the change we want to see for our nation.

February 5th Minnesotans will attend their precinct caucuses and cast their vote for presidential nominees. Caucuses are the first step in a becoming convention delegate and crafting the party platform. Please attend your precinct caucus to help push MAPE issues.

Team MAPE will be hosting non-partisan caucus training on Tuesday January 29th at 7:00 PM, exactly one week before state-wide precinct caucuses. The training will be held at MAPE headquarters in Shoreview (3460 Lexington Ave N). If you cannot attend, materials are available to aid your caucus preparations.

Legislative Update

Team MAPE’s first priority during the legislative session, set to begin February 12th, will be securing early passage of our new collective bargaining agreement. Early passage will give MAPE members peace of mind knowing that our collectively bargained benefits, like health care, will not be in jeopardy.

Contact your legislator now! Ask for “early passage” of the MAPE contract

In Solidarity,
