The 2008 Team MAPE Day on the Hill will be Wednesday, March 12 at the Capitol. Day on the Hill is a crucial part of MAPE’s lobbying efforts. This year we will be working to pass the MAPE contract early in the session and advocating for workforce planning legislation. Day on the Hill will kick-off with a morning welcome reception, speeches from key elected officials and a rundown of the important issues facing MAPE during the legislative session.

Following the morning rally, MAPE members will then split up to meet with their elected officials. Legislator appointments give MAPE members a chance to discuss issues of importance to them and their families, such as workforce planning and pay equity, universal single-payer health care, pension security and job outsourcing.

Please Join MAPE for our 2008 Day on the Hill on March 12. Register now at www.teammape.org/reghill.html.
