Day on the Hill registration closes in one week! Sign up
today!
MAPE Day on the Hill will be Wednesday, March 12 at the
Capitol. Registration that day will begin at 8:30 a.m. MAPE
members from all over the state will converge in St. Paul on
that day to hear from exciting speakers like House Majority
Leader Tony Sertich, learn about important legislative issues
and lobby their hometown legislators.

deadline is Friday, March 7.
The 2008 MAPE Day on the Hill is shaping up to
be our best ever. Speakers like House Majority Leader Tony
Sertich have already committed to speaking with us.

Following the morning program, MAPE members will then split
up to meet with their elected officials. Legislator
appointments give MAPE members a chance to discuss issues of
importance to them and their families, such as workforce
planning and pay equity, universal single-payer health care,
pension security and job outsourcing.
The following is the tentative schedule for the
day:
- 8:30AM Registration and coffee
- 9:00AM Issue overview and Speakers
- 10:00AM Legislator appointments (Efforts are being
made to set between 10AM and noon)
