The Massachusetts AFL-CIO strives to empower all workers, both those who are organized and those who have no union to speak for them. The state federation deems itself the “voice of all working families” and aims to use the collective strength of the labor movement to represent all working families before the state legislature and in all facets of state government.

One constant guides us: to improve the standard of living and quality of life for all working people and their families, whether they hold union cards or not.
