With great sadness, we report the passing of Ross Taylor at 3 pm Saturday, February 7th.  After suffering a stroke a year ago, Ross struggled with his illness and died of pneumonia. 

A memorial service for Ross will be held:
Friday, February 13th at 2pm

Ross served Minneapolis Public Schools as a teacher, teacher leader, curriculum specialist, School Board member and math consultant over a 40 year period.

We remember the leadership he provided for eduction and, in particular, his campaign to improve mathematics instruction. Ross always brought special occasions to life with his whimsical poetry. He will be missed by many.

The Minneapolis Federation of Teachers extends condolences to Mrs. Taylor and the Taylor family.
