Time For Action!
 
Minnesota's schools are at risk for deep cuts in this biennium and the next without new revenue.  We need reliable, adequate funding for our schools. New revenue offers a real solution to our budget crisis. 

Failure to raise revenues now will mean continuing budget problems. We would be back again and again facing new cuts.

Teachers know how difficult our jobs are NOW!  Can you do more with less?  
--More kids in your classrooms, no pay increase?
--More kids in your classroom, more high stakes assessments?
--More kids in your classroom, less ability to individualize learning?
--More kids in you classroom, less classroom support?

The Governor must hear from teachers! 

The Legislators are waiting to hear from teachers!

We need to let our legislators know education is important to us!  Teachers must not be silent or reserved at this time.  Call or e-mail now, it does matter, it can make a difference!

I am calling to let you know that I support raising revenues fairly. We cannot solve the current budget shortfall without adequate funding.  Our children need stable, adequate funding for their educations.  We need a balanced solution, including a balanced tax system where everyone pays their fair share to solve this budget crisis.
