NEGOTIATIONS SURVEY AND UPCOMING SPECIAL INTEREST

COMPLETE THE MFT NEGOTIATIONS SURVEY BY JUNE 11th:
This
survey is to be completed by teachers and related service
professionals who fall under the Teacher Contract. The
data collected will be used in combination with the site
feedback to guide negotiations. Your participation in the survey
is essential so please take 5-10 minutes to fill it out.
Note: the survey closes on June 11th.

SPECIAL INTEREST PRESENTATIONS ARE COMING UP!
This is an invitation to bring forward proposals for the MFT
Negotiations Team to include in finalizing its mandate for
2009-11 contract negotiations.
WHAT: Come as a group and present concerns and
proposals to improve your contract
WHERE: MFT Local 59 (67-8th Ave, NE Mpls, MN 55413)
WHEN:
Wednesday June 10th, 4:30-7:00 pm
(half-hour time slots)
Wednesday June 17th , 9:00 am –
12:00 pm (half-hour time slots)
TO SCHEDULE: If you have a group of people who would
like to present your ideas on a specific issue, contact Mike
Leiter (mleiter@mft59.org;
612-287-0260). Please provide times that you are not
available to accommodate scheduling. The
Team needs to have phone and email contact information to follow
up and will notify you of your time slot.
PREPARATION - Please plan for 30 minutes, 20 minutes to
present and 10 minutes for Q&A. Handout of
supporting information or topics to aid your presentation is
recommended.
