 Negotiations Update:

Over the past several weeks, many of you have seen articles in the Star Tribune and community newspapers regarding the District  wanting all employees to take a pay freeze.

This is just to let you know that the District team has not yet come to the table for negotiations with the teachers. Therefore, nothing has been agreed to about anything.

Meanwhile, the MFT negotiations team has been preparing for several months.  We have looked over the feedback from 46 sites and have reviewed thoroughly your responses on the negotiations survey.   We are studying every contract issue in depth.

We will let you know when we get to the table - which should be in early August.
