| Tomorrow, millions of Americans
will stream to the polls all across the country. Rain or shine,
line or no line, this is our day to decide who will
lead our country. From the top of the national ballot with
Barack Obama and Joe Biden to the Senate, House and state
legislative races, there is a lot at stake this year for working
families.
The AFL-CIO has endorsed Barack Obama
and Joe Biden because they are proud advocates for working
families and will work tirelessly to help strengthen our economy
and rebuild the middle class.
We are in the
worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and working
families are seeing their retirement savings wiped out, their
jobs disappear and their homes foreclosed on. Our next president
must break with the dangerous economic policies of the past
eight years. Obama and Biden will rein in corporate excesses and
reverse the failed economic policies of the past eight years
that have enriched CEOs and hurt working families.
We all have a chance to be a part of history
this year. Be sure to vote tomorrow for Barack Obama, Joe Biden
and other pro-working family candidates on the ticket. Together,
we can turn around America.

Solidarity,
