Dear NALC e-Activist,

Please join the New Jersey AFL-CIO this Saturday as they continue their effort to get out the vote on behalf of NALC's endorsed candidate, Jon Corzine. Throughout New Jersey, your labor brothers and sisters will be knocking doors and making phone calls in a unified effort to re-elect Jon Corzine governor of New Jersey. As President Obama said October 27, "If you were fired up last year, then we need you out there working just as hard right now, knocking on doors, making phone calls, talking to your friends and neighbors and telling them what's at stake."

Jon Corzine will make the tough decisions necessary to put New Jersey on the right track. He backs NALC's state-level agenda—promoting "Vote by Mail" and opposing "Do Not Mail" registries that would threaten our jobs. We have a choice between a governor who fought to protect our wages, benefits and jobs when faced with the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and a Bush administration political appointee who promises to dismantle our unions, eliminate our jobs and sacrifice our health and pension benefits. The choice is clear.

As we enter the home stretch, it is important that we stand with Jon Corzine and the entire labor movement in New Jersey. Over the next few days, I am strongly encouraging you to take some time out of your busy schedule to volunteer to make sure that union members across the state understand how crucial this election is.
