Dear NALC e-Activist,
On Wednesday, June 27th, the Florida State
Association will lead statewide pickets to inform the public
about the threat of outsourcing mail delivery services.
This will be the first statewide picket NALC is holding in its
battle to protect letter carrier jobs and quality service for
Postal Service customers. NALC needs you to invest an hour or
two of your time to show up to the pickets and show solidarity with your
brothers and sisters.
As you are all aware, Florida has been hit with
contracting out -- as hard as anywhere in the country.
NALC needs you to send a loud and unified message to let the
public know about the dangers posed by outsourcing mail delivery
and why dedicated Federal employees are the best and most
trustworthy people to deliver the mail.
The following are the times and locations for the pickets in
Florida. You can wear your uniform to these
pickets. If you have further questions, please contact
