Dear NJ State AFL-CIO E-Activist,

Voters across New Jersey will go to the polls tomorrow to elect representatives to their local School Boards. School Board members not only play an important role in the education of our children, but also act on issues related to employee contracts and school construction. These issues in particular are important to union members in New Jersey represented by the New Jersey State AFL-CIO.

The New Jersey State AFL-CIO, working in partnership with the Central Labor Councils, Building Trades Councils, and all affiliated unions is proud of all the rank-and-file union members who seek election to public office to give New Jersey's working families a stronger voice in government.

Eighteen rank-and-file union members seek election to their local School Board through the Labor Candidates Program. We strongly encourage all union voters to support the election of our union sisters and brothers listed below in the tomorrow's School Board elections.  Polls close at 9:00 PM.
