New Jersey State AFL-CIO E-Activist, Week after week, union members in New Jersey are participating in labor-to-labor walks, phone bank operations, and educating their fellow union brothers and sisters in record numbers. Despite the rain, 1,530 union volunteers, from 60 local unions participated in the New Jersey labor-to-labor walk program on October 25, 2008. Working together, New Jersey Labor Walk volunteers have knocked on more than 164,000 union household doors in New Jersey so far this election cycle. Additionally, at least 9 New Jersey local unions are providing hundreds of volunteers each week into battleground states. As reported by our Central Labor
