Rally with RWDSU Local 108
To Secure a Fair Contract

RWDSU Local 108 members are still fighting to secure a fair contract with Strauss Autobacs Company. As of now, Strauss is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and the union is willing to make the necessary sacrifices it will take to stabilize the company. However, the company is still unwilling to accept its share of the burden expecting workers to accept damaging wage cuts and diminished benefits. Not surprisingly, the Strauss management has no intention of taking any reduction in pay or benefits for themselves.

There are two things you can do:

  1. Please join the New Jersey State AFL-CIO at a rally to support RWDSU Local 108 members on Thursday, April 9, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in front of the Strauss Auto store located at 144 Route 46 East; Lodi, NJ 07644. For more information contact Kathy Campbell at (973) 879-0049.
