NJ State AFL-CIO E-Activist Network

Greetings,

We are inviting you to attend a press conference featuring Representative Frank Pallone (D-06); the New Jersey Partnership for Working Families; and working men and women from throughout New Jersey to outline from a worker's perspective why health care reform can't wait and must be acted upon now.

The press conference is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the New Jersey State House, Committee Room #1 located at 125 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08625.

Rep. Pallone will speak about strengthening our middle class through health care reform. His remarks will be accompanied by workers' firsthand accounts of their struggles with the rising cost of living and a broken health care system. We encourage you to be a part of this event to support the workers that will share their personal stories and commend the elected officials that stand up for our middle class values.

This press conference is one of many events being organized throughout the country as a part of the Health Care for America Now (HCAN) national campaign for health care reform.

In Solidarity,

Charles Wowkanech, President
Laurel Brennan, Secretary-Treasurer
