Greetings,
On Thursday, July 16, 2009, we invite you to join President
Barak Obama and thousands of union activists at Rutgers
University in New Brunswick for a rally to support Governor Jon
Corzine's bid for reelection. The upcoming election is of
particular importance to those in the labor movement because 10
years of our legislative accomplishments are at stake. By
standing in solidarity with our president and governor, we can
engage one another and commit to achieving victory on November
3, 2009.
The rally will take place at the following time and
place:

Doors open at 12:00

Event runs until 5:00
p.m.
Place: Rutgers
University in New
Brunswick Voorhees
Mall between College Ave. and George St.
Parking will be on the Rutgers Livingston Campus
with shuttles to the event. Admission is free and
will be based on a first come first serve basis. Space will be
limited and we anticipate that over 40,000 people will be in
attendance. We urge you to register as soon as possible to
reserve your spot at the rally. Ticket requests can be made

We are counting on you to help facilitate a strong labor
turnout at the rally from the New Jersey labor movement. This
election will come down to the union vote, and we must work
together to involve our brothers and sisters in the election
effort. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming rally and
working together over the next few months to reelect Governor
Jon Corzine. Don't forget to wear your unoin
colors!
