NJ State AFL-CIO E-Activist Network

Greetings,

"The Real Chris Christie" website has been launched for less than a week now and traffic has already spiked upwards and continues to climb. The website examines where Chris Christie stands on key working family issues such as the economy, health care, education, workers' rights, and ethical issues.

Given the importance of this race, educating union members in New Jersey will be essential to achieving victory on November 3, 2009. Chris Christie has promised to reverse over 10 years of our collective achievements and has launched attacks at every sector of our labor movement.

We must work together over the next few months to make the facts on Chris Christie's deplorable policies accessible to working families. Therefore, we are asking you and your local union to do two things to help drive traffic to "The Real Chris Christie" website:

  • The first is to place a banner link or button on your local union's website. Please CLICK HERE for instructions.
  • Secondly, we are asking all locals with e-mail lists to send an e-mail to their members encouraging them to visit the website. Please CLICK HERE to view a sample e-mail for your use.

Once you have posted a link on your website, please send an e-mail to Legislative Affairs Coordinator, Eric Richard at ericrichard@njaflcio.com. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Eric through e-mail or by calling (609) 989-8730.

Sincerely,

Charles Wowkanech, President
