Subject: Learn about the right to organize

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

Please listen to the testimony of working people involved in organizing drives. We meet at 7 PM on June 19 at Munger United Methodist Church, 5200 Bryan (At Munger) in East Dallas. We want you to see how bad the present labor law is, then start supporting the Employee Free Choice Act. It will be voted on soon.

Sincerely,

Campaign Launched:

Background Information

The Employee Free Choice Act lets workers have a union as soon as more than 50% of them sign up. It makes sure they will get a contract by providing for mandatory arbitration after a short initial period. It triples the damages against employers who break the law by firing or otherwise intimidating workers.
