The Date/Day of Week in previous email
was wrong, please excuse the error.
As you may already be aware our friend and
colleague Donnie DeThorne passed away in Green Bay
on a layover yesterday, June 11. I have spoken to Donnie’s partner,
Brent De Moss, he said that Donnie would love to have his
co-workers present for either the Visitation Service or
Funeral. If you
plan on attending Brent made a specific request that we wear our
uniform. We all
know Donnie was proud to be a flight attendant and it would mean
a lot to him to have uniformed co-workers in attendance.
If
you would like attend please contact me. I will be in San
Antonio and have made arrangements for
transportation to and from the airport. As it turns out, Donnie
was a neighbor of my parents and they have agreed to make sure
we all have transportation.

Grave Side Services with Military Rights will be held at
2:00PM and last approximately 30 minutes. The Grave site will be
about a 45 minute drive from the funeral home. Again, please be aware I
will provide transportation to anyone who wishes to
attend.
