A Message from Our New MEC Secretary-Treasurer

Dear Fellow Flight Attendants,

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Lynn M. Bible.  I have accepted the position by Association of Flight Attendants – CWA-AFL-CIO, Master Executive Council as the Secretary-Treasurer of Northwest Airlines.  I was appointed to this position on Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at the Board of Directors Meeting in Milwaukee, WI.  I will be taking over the duties of Mark Gehrt who has taken the company’s early-out program effective April 1st, 2009.

I have 24 years as a union member and a strong background in business and finance.  I have a B.A. in Accounting and a Business & Management Degree. 

As your newly elected Secretary-Treasurer, I believe my main concern is our fight against our new Delta management and our upcoming election with our members.  Our campaign to retain representation is my main Focus.  Get involved with the campaign by visiting the website at www.deltaafa.org.  If there is no struggle, there is no progress.  I remind you to wear your AFA union pins and purple ribbons.
