Good Evening, Boston . .
.
Your AFA Council 92
Officers are aware of concerns regarding the September flying
schedules and want you to know that we hear you and understand
these concerns. With the largest decrease in hours
system-wide since 9/11 there is a large increase in reserve
lines affecting many people and several senior flight attendants
are concerned with the possible contractual violations awarded
by PBS.
Please know that on
September 22, 2009 a representative from our base will attend
the AFA /NWA Scheduling and Reserve Committee Meeting. A
majority of the scheduling issues are due to the pullback of the
fall flying schedule and downsize of equipment serving the
Boston market. Still, we will take your concerns
to the company in our meeting at the end of the
month. Should you have any concerns that you would
like us to address, please send them to Vice
President/Secretary, Jacob Easter at jeaster@nwaafa.org. Please include your name and employee
number in your e-mail so that we may look closer at any specific
September flying issues.
If you feel as though
there are any errors in your bid award for September flying
please remember to submit a bid resolution in CENTRY prior to
20AUG09 (10:00 Base Local Time). Thanks for your support
and we will work hard on your behalf to try and resolve any
issues we can. In Unity and Safe
Flying, Council 92 Officers
