Ground Time Pay
Forms
Please be aware that NWA is removing Ground Time Pay
forms from the aircraft. This form can be found on ATLAS
under the "Inflight Services" tab, along with forms for Stop to
Stop Pay, Standby Pay, etc. A copy of the Ground Time form
is attached to this email. It is always a good idea to
have these forms available when a delay happens, but keep in
mind that you have 90 days after the occurrence to submit for
pay.
Probationary Help
Available
If you are a newly hired flight attendant and on
probation, you may still contact your Local union office
with contractual questions. Your union officers can sit in
on disciplinary hearings while you are on probation, but cannot
participate. Any contractual violation that occurs while a
member is on probation can be grieved up to 30 days after
the member leaves probation. Please note that the
contract is available on ATLAS under "Hotlinks" and on the union
website at www.nwaafa.org. Carrying
Section 5, 6, and 7 with you is always
advised.
Early Out Reminders
AFA Local 94 would like to make your Early Out
and/or Retirement go as smoothly as possible, so please don't
hesitate to contact Local 94 if you encounter any questions or
problems as you go through the process. Your AFA-CWA Dues
Check-Off should end when you resign. If it does not,
please contact the Payroll department at Northwest Airlines in
order to revoke your Dues Check-Off in
writing. COBRA information, Retiree insurance rates,
401K information, Retiree Pass Travel information,
etc. can be found on RADAR.
