We are saddened to share with you news of

the passing of DTW Flight Attendant, Joey Musmecci, following a brief illness.  A memorial will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Times Ten Cellars, where his presence created many fond memories of good times together.  Friends are encouraged to gather for a casual afternoon in Joey’s honor, which will include a slide show, his favorite music and the opportunity to get up and speak.

Joey was hired by NWA in 2001.  He frequently volunteered his time as a home room parent at his daughter, Alyssa’s school.  He loved working on his home, yard and garden.  Joey is survived by his partner, Shane, and daughter, Alyssa. 

One of his Joey's friends has shared the virtual memorial she created in his honor, including an online guestbook, pictures, memories and a youtube slideshow Joey created of his NWA flying career, entitled My Life in the Sky.
