Local 94 Tentative
Agreement #3 Update
The polls for Tentative
Agreement #3 will open on 7 MAY 2007 at 0900 EDT. This will
likely coincide with the date the mailing that contains the
voting instructions will arrive at members' homes. A
summary of the differences between the currently imposed work
rules (TA #1/TCE) and TA#3 is available at www.nwaafa.org, at the DTW AFA
bulletin board in the flight attendant lounge, and in the Local
94 office.
In the envelope with the voting
instructions, we'll include the TA #3 summary and a Road Show
schedule. The envelope will also contain a membership
application and a letter explaining that a flight attendant must
have a membership application on file in order to vote. If a
member does not have an application on file, but submits one
before the polls close, on 29 MAY 2007 at 1330 EDT, her/his vote
will count. S/he can vote and fax/mail in the application in any
order, so long as both are completed (vote is cast and AFA
International receives the application) before the polls
close.
Please contact afamembership@afanet.org, (800)
424-2401 ext. 707, or Local 94 with any questions about dues or
member status for voting purposes. You can fax AFA Member Applications to (202)
434-1456.
The DTW Tentative Agreement #3
Road Shows are scheduled for May 12th, 13th, and 14th. More details and
finalized times, etc. will come out with the voting instructions
in the U.S. Mail and by email. A web cast is planned for the website,
for those who cannot attend.
We will post PDF files of each
section of TA #3 on www.nwaafa.org, once they are
finalized. The full and bound text should be in DTW by
Friday May 4, 2007 and each flight attendant will receive one
for review prior to voting.
Please feel free to contact
Local Executive Council 94 about any specific questions at the
office numbers (734) 532-8404, (734) 532-8408, and our group
email at lec94@nwaafa.org. We are in the office
from at least 9-5 Monday thru Friday and also always available
by email. Our
office is located under Gate 8 in DTW.
Always ask for a Review of Crew
Orders if you are in question of the legality of assignment from
Crew Scheduling.
Fly safe and please take care of each other on the
line.
