Local Executive Council 94 Election Schedule --- 2007

Detroit is in the AFA-CWA Local Council Election Category 1.  When Northwest became an AFA carrier, it was towards the end of the term of office for Category 1.  The term of office for the currently elected local officers will end December 31, 2007.  The next term of office will commence January 1, 2008 and will end December 31, 2010.

Nominating Ballots, commitment to serve statements, and cover letters will be mailed to all active members

August 9, 2007

Nominating ballots, commitment to serve statements must be postmarked by this date.  Any ballot mailed after this date is considered late. 

August 21, 2007

Nominating ballots counted

September 17, 2007

All election ballot information is sent to active members by this date (this is an electronic ballot and voting will be online or via telephone.)

September 21 - October 12, 2007

The AFA-CWA Local Union Officer Election Handbook is attached to this email for your reference in PDF format.  Copies are also available at the Local union office under gate 8 in DTW.
