Greetings,

For over a year, healthcare workers at the Saint Joseph Health System
here in Orange County have been fighting for a union.  The Health
System has been running an aggressive campaign to discourage workers from
organizing by retaliating against and intimidating dedicated
caregivers.  Despite numerous pleas from community leaders, elected officials,
and religious leaders, the Saint Joseph Health System  has refused to
accept a 'fast and fair election' process so workers can make a choice
about unionization in an environment free from harassment and
intimidation.

Join St Joseph Health System (SJHS) healthcare workers on Saturday,
October 27th at 10:00am at 500 South Main Street, Orange in calling on St
Joseph Health System to stop the retaliation and intimidation  of
caregivers.   Workers will be calling on SJHS to negotiate a "FREE AND
FAIR" Election Agreement.  Workers from SJHS will be gathering at the
SJHS corporate office, followed by a procession.   Attached you will
find the flyer for the event.  Feel free to distribute to other unions
and organizations.
