Here are some of the votes John McCain has cast:

Raising the Minimum Wage

McCain has voted against raising the federal minimum wage to $7.25 an hour. (S. Amdt. 44 to S. 256, vote number 2005-26, 3/7/05) McCain also voted to allow states to opt out of future federal minimum wage increases, which would effectively repeal the federal minimum wage requirement. (S.Amdt. 116 to S.Amdt. 100 to H.R. 2, vote number 24, 1/24/07)

Trade & Manufacturing

In the Senate, McCain voted for Fast Track trade authority. He also voted in favor of CAFTA, as well as free-trade agreements with Singapore, Chile, Oman and Australia. McCain voted to normalize trade relations with China and Vietnam and voted against the Schumer-Graham bill, which would have imposed tariffs on China as a penalty for currency manipulation.

Retirement Security

McCain voted against a resolution amendment saying Congress should reject any Social Security plan requiring deep benefit cuts or massive increase in debt. (S. Con. Res. 18, 3/15/05)
