Pride At Work is the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Constituency Group of the AFL-CIO. We are out and organizing in the labor and LGBT movement nationwide.  Our members know the importance of a union contract! Without a union, in most cities and states in the U.S. it is legal to fire someone simply because they are LGBT.  We  know the critical role solidarity plays in a union campaign. We stand up for the right to organize and for broad issues of workplace fairness. Pride At Work brings the labor movement to LGBT fights, whether it’s speaking out against hate crimes, organizing against anti-lgbt legislation, or supporting strong pro-lgbt national and local legislation. We’re stronger together! For more information and how to get involved visit www.prideatwork.org. Thank you!
