Include LGBT Families in comprehensive immigration reform!

Senator Schumer is writing a comprehensive immigration reform bill before Labor Day.  It is critical that this legislation includes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender families. We must get this message to Senator Schumer as soon as possible.  The suffering of LGBT binational families must end.

Under the current discriminatory immigration laws, lesbian and gay Americans cannot sponsor their foreign-born partners for immigration and thus have to choose between leaving the United States or having their family torn apart.  Senator Schumer can remedy this terrible injustice – but only if he includes LGBT families in his bill.
