Greetings, I was hoping to enlist your help. As you know, Maine legislators recently voted to end marriage discrimination and allow same-sex couples to marry. The right-wing has certified a ballot measure to repeal this legislation. After our loss in California with Proposition 8, we need to draw a line in the sand and say firmly to the right-wing- we will not allow you to strip us of our rights.
I rarely ask you to give money, however, this is a campaign we can not lose. I'm hoping you will show your solidarity spirit and send a little money (or perhaps a lot) to our brothers and sisters in Maine. All money will go directly to the No on 1 Campaign.
