PRIDE AT WORK

Greetings,

Jeremy Bishop, who has led Pride at Work, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) constituency group of the AFL-CIO, for nearly six years, announced last week that he is stepping down as Executive Director to take a position with the Obama Administration at the US Department of Labor.

"We will miss Jeremy badly," said Nancy Wohlforth, outgoing Co-President of Pride at Work. "He has shown great strength, intelligence, resourcefulness and adaptability, seen us through some difficult times and led us in meeting significant challenges. But we can take comfort and satisfaction in knowing that the labor movement and LGBT people will have another good friend in the Federal Government."

Outgoing Pride at Work Co-President T Santora added, "Jeremy has been a great asset to both the labor movement and the LGBT movement. We wish him good luck and success in the future."

Pride At Work has immediately issued a call for resumes for an Executive Director. A job description and information on how to apply can be found on the Pride At Work website. http://www.prideatwork.org
