Tell Congress to take care of the home front!

Sign the petition for America's priorities.

President Bush has prioritized the war in Iraq over our needs here at home. First he denied health care to needy kids when he vetoed SCHIP.  Now he is threatening to veto bills that would invest in services that keep America working, healthy and competitive - things like job training for veterans, researching cures for cancer, Alzheimer's and diabetes and Head Start.

Sign our petition telling Congress to stand for the right priorities and stand up to Bush's vetoes. We'll deliver these petitions to your representative and senators.

Subject: Invest in America

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

If President Bush and the Republican leadership can find $200 billion to spend in Iraq, they can find a fraction of that to invest here at home.

It's time President Bush stop vetoing the priorities Americans care about - things like job training for veterans, finding cures for cancer and other diseases, community hospitals and Head Start.

Congress must override President Bush's reckless vetoes. It's time to invest in America.
