Greetings,

Just a few weeks ago, President Bush vetoed health care for 10 million needy children. He said America couldn't afford it.

Now, President Bush is waving his veto pen at the Labor-HHS bill. He's against the bill's increased investment in college scholarships, school lunches, job training, cancer research and more. Many of these are services that working families need. He again says America can't afford it.

But we know that if the President can spend countless billions in Iraq, he can invest a fraction of that for our folks here at home. Now is the time to speak up. Now is the time to make the rest of America listen.

Act now by writing a letter to your local newspaper, and let America hear your voice

We need Congress to pass the final version of this domestic funding bill with a veto-proof majority if we're going to overcome Bush and his misplaced priorities.

If you want Congress to show some backbone, then we need to let our voices be heard. Exercise your freedom of speech today - write to your local newspaper and let them know you support the Labor-HHS bill. It's easy to do. We provide you with some key points to mention and will forward your letter to your newspaper for you.

Let your voice be heard!
