The Alliance for Retired Americans invites Southern Region members to attend its Southern Regional Conference in Orlando, FL, June 4-5, 2008.

Speakers, workshops and training sessions will focus on growing our State Alliance power to educate and increase membership, retiree voter registration and retiree voter participation. This regional meeting will provide a forum to work with other activists in the region to learn how to increase grassroots advocacy, get seniors and retirees registered and voting, and educate federal, state and local legislators on the issues that concern retirees and seniors, including prescription drugs, Medicare, Social Security and retirement security.

With 3.4 million members educated to vote for candidates that will have the concerns of retirees and seniors and their children at the forefront of their agendas in 2008 and beyond, the Alliance is positioned for making a critical difference in shaping America’s direction.Building the strength and future of the Alliance’s Southern Region is in your hands.
