Subject: I'll be there April 2

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

[Edit this note to us]

You can count on me! I will be there at the Board of Governors' meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 9:30 AM at Winants Hall, 7 College Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

I'd like to become more involved in the budget issue this year. Put me on a short list of those who want to receive more opportunities to be involved, and I will participate as often as I am able.

Sincerely,

Background Information

We wrote to you last week about the proposed state budget and its potential consequences for Rutgers. Given that state budget hearings are taking place at the present time, much of this speculation is premature. We suggested many ways that you can get involved in the process.  This Board of Governors' meeting is one of them.

We must stand up for a reasoned discussion over the next several months in order to support measures that preserve quality instruction and research.
