Greetings,

Hi fellow TAs and GAs! There's something nice about the quiet summer campus when classes are out and grades are finally--FINALLY!--submitted. Still, sometimes it's a little TOO quiet, don't you think? Seems like everyone is traveling... and the rest of us, eager as we are to get some serious studying and writing done, just can't always find each other in those library-exhausted moments when we just need a break.

Well, no more! The TA/GA Steering Committee plans to make time this summer to go out now and then for a cold drink and warm conversation--and you're all invited! Learn about the union through conversation with TA/GA activists rather than speeches or a piece of paper--and find out why you need to become a member.

Now announcing: the first TA/GA summer Happy Hour!!

This week:

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3: Evelyn's outdoor bar on Easton Ave. in New Brunswick, starting around 5pm.
IF IT RAINS: Harvest Moon on George St. in New Brunswick, 5pm.

Oh, and we'll be easy to spot: just look for the folks with the bright blue (AFT) and red (AAUP) T-shirts. Come on up and say hi!
