Why is this important? Writing our own unique contract ensures that we address both the commonalities and the specific needs of our diverse disciplines.  Therefore, to move the bargaining process forward, we need input from you. 

The bargaining issues survey presents questions related to issues identified during dialogues with fellow colleagues across the campuses.  The topics in this survey also include provisions that other AAUP* and AFT* unions, together with unions here at Rutgers, currently contain in their contracts.  In addition, we hope to recognize areas of support needed for the postdoctoral position. 

Through this survey, we want to bring everyone into this dialogue.  

Your answers on this survey will guide our negotiating team at the bargaining table with Rutgers University.  Once the contract is negotiated, we will vote to approve or reject the contract.  To make sure you get the contract you want, fill out this survey today!
