Greetings,

Have questions about health insurance? Not sure what gets covered and what doesn't? What happens when you travel internationally? Or maybe (like me!) you're just really interested in the "reform" debate that's dividing the country!

Whatever your questions, whatever your interests... if it has to do with health care, this Thursday (that's tomorrow, Sept 24!) the Graduate Student Lounge is the place to be! First we're running a forum on OUR health benefits as Rutgers graduate employees starting at 5:30--and then our friends at the GSA are letting us take over their regular Film Night to show "Sicko," Michael Moore's critically acclaimed and award-winning documentary on America's for-profit health care system.

About Sicko
Michael Moore sets his sights on the plight of the uninsured in this Oscar-nominated documentary that uses Moore's trademark humor and confrontational style to ask the difficult questions and get to the truth behind the health care crisis. In the world's richest country, 45 million people have no health insurance, while insurance companies grow in size and wealth. Moore also explores the widespread use of antidepressants and their possible link to violence.

"Know Your Contract" -- Health Benefits: Thursday at the Graduate Student Lounge on College Ave, from 5:30–7:00pm. We'll publish the results of our discussions, along with any unanswered questions that we have to look up later, as an FAQ for graduate employee use on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=157112754327&index=1.
