After all the prep work, it's really
getting serious now!
Since June, when postdocs at Rutgers voted yes to form a union, a
team of postdocs has been working hard to write contract
proposals to be negotiated with the university. Dates have been
set for your negotiating team to go to that bargaining
table this month.
The meeting is designed for
fun and fundamentals:
- Find out how contract negotiations work
- Learn what proposals we are looking to gain in a
contract
- Gain more understanding about the union
- Meet other postdocs to discuss each other's research and
have fun
