The Senate budget proposal, while not good, is not as harmful as the House budget. It does not force pay cuts for state employees and it has more funding for our higher education system. However, it can be improved. Tell your local senator and leaders in the Senate that they should not be satisfied with their budget product. They can do better. Urge them to do so.
