Subject: INCREASE UI BENEFITS NOW!

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

Please do not go home without passing the NYS AFL-CIO bill to increase the unemployment insurance benefit, and which indexes that benefit (A4921/S2245)!

Despite promises all year long from the Governor, no alternative proposals have been offered and no negotiations to improve unemployment insurance have taken place.

In fact, the Governor has attempted to link this issue and hold it hostage to anti-labor legislation.

Now, we must rely on the Senate and Assembly to do the right thing.

We need your leadership to increase and index the unemployment insurance benefit to 50% of the state's average weekly wage before you adjourn.

Please pass A4921/S2245 today!!!

Thank you.

Sincerely,
