Make Every Vote Count this Election Day 

Take Action to Protect Your Voting Rights!

The upcoming Election, will be the most important election in recent United States History, especially given what is at stake for the working people of America. 

With so much at stake, it is our duty to ensure that every vote cast is counted.  Below are a couple of ways, in which you can TAKE ACTION, to ensure that your voting rights, and the voting rights of others, are not violated this November. 

  • Know Your Voting Rights.  Print and distrubute this full list of your rights as a voter in Missouri CLICK HERE
  • Be Ready to Vote.  Review a sample ballot for your own locality CLICK HERE
  • Work the Polls on Election Day as a Poll Monitor.  The AFL-CIO's My Vote, My Right Campaign and The Advancement Project are organizing people around Missouri to be monitors at polling places. They are offering many trainings leading up to the election.  trainings in St. Louis will be held at the Omega Center, 3900 Goodfellow Blvd, 63120.  Training Dates are as follows: 

    - Sunday Trainings, 4PM - October 19, 26
    - Weekday Trainings, 5:30 PM - October 20, 21, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30
    - Saturday Trainings, 10 AM - October 25, and November 1

  • Be an Election Judge. With a higher voter turnout expected this election, local Boards of Election are seeking people to act as Election Judges at polling places around the area.  To find out more about what would be involved in becoming an election judge.  Contact your local election board.
