The Grinch of the year is St Louis Area Jobs with Justice's annual fundraiser. Rules are: 1 dollar, 1 vote. No limits!

This year’s nominees are:

  • Henry M. Paulson, Jr. the 74th Secretary of the United States Treasury, for lining the pockets of bankers while bankrupting workers.
  • Mary Junck, CEO Lee Enterprises (publisher of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch), for taking retirees health benefits and sending jobs to India. 
  • Western Union, for laying off workers and sending jobs offshore to bust the union.
  • ABM Lakeside, for horrible treatment and intimidation of workers.
  • Senator Kit Bond, for opposing the Employee Free Choice Act and making health care about profits instead of people.
