Urgent: Protect MO's
Minimum Wage for Tipped
Employees
In 2006, 76.4% of Missourians
voted to pass Proposition B to raise the wage for ALL Missouri
workers, including tipped employees.Now,
House Bill 258 is threatening to roll back the minimum wage for
tipped employees to that of 15 years ago.
We must act NOW! CLICK

on Workforce Development & Workplace Safety that the
citizens of Missouri want to protect the wages of 53,240 tipped
employees.

to build Jobs with Justice in the Greater Kansas City
area. The meeting will be held at Westport
Presbyterian Church, 201 Westport Rd across from the Westport

Grassroots
Organizing (GRO) will provide a People's Advocacy Workshop from
9:45 to 11:45 AM in Hearing Room #7 in the Capitol basement.
Following the training there will be a noon Medicaid
Restoration Rally.
GRO will also be
staffing an information table in the rotunda for people to
look-up their State Representatives and Senators as well as
answer any questions.
GRO will be
providing lunch and limited transportation for individuals that
contacts them by Monday February 23, 2009. Please
